IXC UK Ltd and the MIDRU Innovation Team at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust have come together to create and implement an innovative approach to identifying, recruiting, training and supporting Innovation Champions. These roles will support the organisation to drive forward the delivery of leading edge healthcare across its community by accelerating the adoption of innovative practice and associated technologies. The Champions will be identified through their enthusiasm and interest in innovation and from across a wide range of services and backgrounds. Their role will be to seek out needs and challenges and provide on-the-ground, practical support to enable the development and adoption of innovation. This will involve development of new Trust led and co-created solutions but also importantly the scale up and adoption of existing innovation and good practice generated by external organisations, including other NHS organisations and industry.
