Innovation Intermediary & Business Development

In his Business Development role at IXC, Russ is engaged in assisting a range of businesses (SME to Corporate) across diverse markets including transport, healthcare and industrial with their innovation activities and strategy. This includes identifying opportunities for introducing innovative technologies into a business’s product portfolio and connecting to & delivering sources of innovation from a broad technology supply field. Having led a Sensor Technology-based business group and the BD activity as part of a Joint Venture in a large Defence corporate Russ has experience in commercial exploitation of technology utilising a range of business models including technology transfer, licensing, sale of IP & technical capability.
The closest Russ gets to a sedate and serene hobby is when he attends his favourite rugby team’s games. The rest of the time you can find him on skis or a bike.
